This episode features Joya Dass, the American TV anchor of NY1 and host of the popular Saturday morning entertainment show AVS and a former Film Director at The Rockefeller Foundation. She has been onTV for the past 18 years already. She lives in New York City but dreams of settling down in Frankfurt when it’s time for her to settle down.

 

Joya is a speaker, emcee, and moderator. Her 18 years in television enables her to support a women’s networking initiative called “LadyDrinks”  (www.lady-drinks.com)  to host monthly  events designed to assist small business entrepreneurs of South Asia.  Under her production outfit, Joya Dass Productions, she has produced and directed a series of photo essays and social justice documentary films.
